"...The restaurant has a lengthy menu with plenty of entrees, desserts, samplers, and drinks of every type, all at a reasonable price. Some customer favorites include melt-in-your-mouth molten chocolate cake, vanilla creme brulee, and the famous Finale cheesecake. With locations in Brookline, Boston, and Cambridge, this place is highly original and highly recommended.!..." Read the whole post here.
"...Our third and last dessert was the Hot Fudge Sundae. If you love Sundae ice cream, this one is for you. It featured Tahitian vanilla gelato with fudge brownie pieces, hot Valrhona fudge sauce, fresh whipped cream and topped with a candied maraschino cherry. Heaven!..." Read the whole post here.
"It's hard to believe I've had The Dessert Blog for so long and haven't yet mentioned Finale. For those not in the Boston area, Finale is a dessert restaurant with a few locations in and around the city. It's very high end, with $10 "plated desserts" and a large selection of dessert wines, dessert martinis, etc. There are also a few appetizers and such, in case you're too hungry for just a dessert, but really the focus is on the sweets...." "...Harvard Square is great for a number of bookshops that offer events, not to mention that Finale, Herrell’s Ice Cream and Burdick are conveniently nearby for dessert....." Read the whole post here.
"The dessert menu was tempting indeed, and we all perused the choices to decide what to have. In the end, we decided to just share a few desserts so that we could get tastes of different things. First, we decided on the Retro Chocolate Plate because it had a nice mix of different items that sounded good to us. And, because we were in Boston, we also decided to share a dish of Boston Cream Pie. One of my companions had the same affinity for moscato that I do, so we each decided to try a glass of the sparkling moscato with our dessert as well...." Read the whole post here.
"Finale – Simply the best dessert I’ve ever had. Its sampler plate came with tastes of some of its better items. Some selections were tame, like creme brulee and strawberry shortcake. Others were more unusual, like Manjari mousse. Finale was also offering a special, which was adding a free chocolate lava cake with all samplers. That was probably the highlight. If left to my own devices, I would’ve gone with the Retro Chocolate Plate....." Read the whole post here.

"Finale: This place offers beautiful fancy-looking cakes that are rich and decadent. I love looking at their bakery case. There are rows and rows of perfectly decorated cakes. The ultimate indulgence at Finale is to sit down and enjoy their plated desserts. Try the mini dessert sampler. It has mini versions of their popular desserts such as crème brulee, cheesecake, Boston cream pie, whoppie pies, sorbet, etc. It’s meant to be shared but I can definitely enjoy it all by myself!...." "You can always count on Finale for impeccable desserts and they showed up with one of their classics: a dense, almost ganache-like flourless cake with deep round chocolate flavor with a hint of coffee. Depending upon its ability to maintain its shelf-life at ambient temperatures, this could be a great addition to a fresh table. Finale has a centralized pastry kitchen which serves its three Boston-area locations and sells wholesale, with both frozen and fresh capabilities....." Read the whole post here.
"Celebrate National Dessert Month with a special offer from Finale. You can satisfy your sweet tooth this month by getting a free Molten Chocolate Cake, which is Finale's signature dessert! With a purchase of the Dessert Sampler, which is a decadent dessert perfect for sharing, you will also the get the Molten cake, a $10.99 value, free...." Read the whole post here.
"October is known for foliage, pumpkins, playoff baseball, and Halloween. But at Finale, this month is held in high regard because it’s National Dessert Month. That means it’s a great excuse for Finale to express their passion for pastry, premium ingredients, and paying attention to the little details. So… Finale is turning National Dessert Month into Molten Month with a special offer for it's customers..." Read the whole post here.
"On Sunday night we went out to a fabulous dinner at Finale in Harvard Square. They take dessert very seriously at this restaurant – in fact, the dinner course is considered a prelude to the grand finale (no pun intended :P ) … lots and lots of decadent dessert!..." Read the whole post here.
"I was sooo stuffed after dinner but it was the last night to go try Finale Desserterie & Bakery. http://www.finaledesserts.com/ The also serve regular food but specialize in desserts. The décor was very cool and I especially liked the mirrors they hung on the ceiling to show the customers how the pastry chefs are decorating the plates. The presentation of the plates was so pretty!,..." Read the whole post here.

"The idea of a restaurant that focuses on dessert makes me think of absolute decadence, and the Retro Tasting Plate is exactly that (and isn't decadence a good thing for Valentine's Day?) The plate is HUGE, and each of the six offerings is definitely decadent. And it's definitely retro, filled with old-school favorites like peanut butter and jelly, s'mores, and malted milk balls. With so many different things on one plate, you'd think all the flavors would get muddled, but the through-line of chocolate ties everything together...." Read the whole post here.

"...Honestly, neither of us were hungry, but we did finish the platter between us. If you're looking for a sweet bite with a large variety, you can't go wrong with this platter for 2. The perfect end to a great date with just enough for everyone - chocolate lovers, citrus fans, anything. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for all these things."
