Pastry Kitchen Production Manager

Finale Desserterie is expanding in the Greater Boston area!  We are seeking an experienced baking and pastry professional to manage our centralized pastry kitchen (commissary).  You will oversee all aspects of the operation, including production planning, ordering, receiving, inventory control, mixing, baking, finishing, packaging, and distribution.  You will manage a staff of 10+ team members, have responsibility for the operating budget of the Pastry Kitchen, and report directly to Executive Pastry Chef Nicole Coady.   As a member of our Support Team (Senior Management Team), you will play a key role in the success and growth of Finale.   Prior experience working in and managing a high volume bakery or pastry department is required.  Experience managing in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment is also preferred.  For detailed job description, please click here.

You will be responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, and managing a staff of 10.  Your job responsibilities will contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.   Prior restaurant management experience is required.  Qualified candidates are able to work daytime and nighttime hours and provide their own transportation.  You will report to the General Manager and have frequent, direct exposure to the Corporate Executive Pastry Chef Nicole Coady.

Bakery Counter Help

If you love dessert, you need to join the Finale team.  We are hiring daytime counter helpers for our Bakeries in Boston, Cambridge and Brookline.  Full time or part time hours are available.  Finale has easy T Access (Green Line-Arlington Street/Red Line Park Street, Red Line-Harvard Square and Green Line- Coolidge Corner). Finale Team Leader

Finale Desserterie is seeking energetic, hospitality-oriented people to join our team as a Team Leader (Supervisor). Full-time and part-time hours are available.  Team Leaders are cross-trained to manage the dining room, bakery counter and kitchen operations.  We’ve found that many of our Team Leaders wind up getting promoted into management positions at Finale if they decide to pursue this as a career.  Additional responsibilities include assisting with training, closing or opening the Desserterie, and dealing directly with customers.  Prior restaurant experience required.
